- Do you offer services to female clients only?
Our waxing services are exclusively offered to women as part of our commitment to providing a private, comfortable, and relaxing environment tailored specifically for women’s needs.
- How long should my hair be to get a wax?
You’ll get the best results if you let the hair grow to about as long as a grain of rice (0.5cm-1cm). If you’ve been shaving, allow for 2 weeks of hair growth.
- When is the best time to wax?
If you have a low pain threshold, try not come while you are on your cycle as you may find this more painful. A week after your cycle is the ideal time.
- I just started my period. Must I reschedule?
We can still do your waxing while on your cycle. Just use a fresh tampon so that we can work without flow.
- How long do the results last?
After your first wax, the results can last between 3-4 weeks, depending on the hair’s re-growth.
- What can I do to lessen the pain?
Take a warm shower an hour before your waxing appointment. You can also take an aspirin or ibuprofen 45 minutes ahead of time.
- What should I avoid after my wax?
Avoid swimming or sunbathing for at least 24 hours. For at least 24-48 hours after your wax, avoid steam rooms, saunas, and very hot showers. Avoid wearing anything too tight. We also sell post waxing products designed to avoid ingrown hairs and irritation (they cost between R195 and R245 for the different sizes).
- What areas can be waxed?
We offer waxing services for various areas, including legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, back, and facial areas like brows and lips.
- What is the difference between a Brazilian and Hollywood wax?
A Brazilian wax does not include the inner bum while a Hollywood wax is complete hair removal in the intimate area including the inner bum. Our aesthetician can help you choose the option that suits your preference.
- Can I wax if I’m pregnant?
Yes, waxing is generally safe during pregnancy. However, please inform our aesthetician of your pregnancy before your session.
